Our St. Peter’s family worships at 10:00 AM every Sunday. Our service blends traditional and contemporary elements. We include special time with the children, a sermon, congregational sharing of joys and concerns, and prayer.

Volunteers lead the Call to Worship and scripture reading. Vocalists, instrumentalists, or choirs offer musical selections. The chime choirs often perform. The pastor preaches Bible-based sermons. Our worship incorporates expressions of praise, thanksgiving, repentance, and forgiveness through songs and hymns of praise. Included are traditional hymn favorites and today’s Christian music.

A nursery staffed by a professional childcare worker welcomes infants and preschool children.

Except during special seasons we celebrate the Lord’s Supper [Holy Communion] on the first Sunday of the month. One does not need to belong to this or any other congregation to participate. Children are welcome.

As we gather at the Lord’s Table, where Christ’s grace welcomes and embraces all, we celebrate faith’s great mystery: Christ has died; Christ is risen; Christ will come again. Holy Communion is deeply meaningful for our faith community.

Worshipers choose to receive Communion either by intinction (dipping one’s bread into the common cup) or by eating bread and drinking from an individual cup. We also have gluten-free wafers.

For the Lord’s Supper our practice is to gather around the altar railing. However worshipers may also take Communion from their pew seat. Just tell the usher and we will be happy to accommodate you. Worshipers may also remain in their pew to pray and meditate instead of taking communion
