My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you— I whom you have delivered.

Psalm 71:23

From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible illustrates again and again the life-changing power of music and song. Often, music and song exceed the spoken word and guide us to deeper places in our souls. Melodies and lyrics can awaken feelings, lift our spirits, inspire us on our faith journey, and unify. But, ultimately, our music and songs are our offerings of praise and thanksgiving to an awesome God.

At St. Peter’s, we understand the importance and power of music and song. From traditional, long-time favorite hymns to today’s popular Christian songs, we strive to create meaningful worship and praise. God focused music expressing God’s amazing work through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is what we, at SPUMC, are about.
